German Fashion Photographer Peter Lindbergh Dies at 74

Peter Lindbergh, known for his black and white pictures of stars and models, died on Tuesday at the age of 74, announced his family on Wednesday, September 4 at Agence France-presse.

A German national, Lindbergh, born in 1944 in Leszno, Poland, has collaborated with the world’s most prestigious fashion magazines (Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, The New Yorker…) and has participated in a large number of advertising campaigns, as well as in the famous Pirelli calendar, making his photographs iconic images of the fashion world.
