David S. Bush is a neuropsychologist whose passion is photography. He grew up in Miami in the 1960s and early 1970s, and was always aware of the Cuban culture. In this beautiful photographic series, he offers an interesting look of street photography in Cuba. The name of the show is Calle Habana. He made a few trips down to the old city, and the pull he felt to the time warp in Cuba is present in most pictures. “Unfortunately, globalization has brought a lot of homogenization and cities have lost much of their distinctive character; in Havana, this hasn’t happened yet.”

He dignifies all of Cuba’s authenticity and raw beauty in this time travelling series of work.
