Noodled is a photo series that aims to highlight the resemblances between man and oceans by pairing black-and-white portraits and photos of waves.
Made by a team of established creatives ( the director Kimberley Norcott, the hairdresser James Pecis, and the photographers Paul Wetherell and Ben Budgen ), these beautiful diptyches wanted to show “the delicate parallels between the numerous forms created by nature and the similar movements created by hair.”
This artwork aims to go beyond the aesthetic by supporting Mission Blue, an association that protects oceans. For that purpose, the authors decided to gather their pictures in a book published in a limited edition of 2,000 copies and the benefits will go to the association.
