In 2011, French photographer Antoine Repessé stopped throwing away his recyclable waste in an attempt to express an idea. Four years later, he turned this idea into a powerful series called “#365 Unpacked” that leads us to reflect on consumption.
In these four years, Antoine has accumulated more than 70 cubic metres of waste – 1,600 cartons of milk, 4,800 rolls of toilet paper and 800 kilos of newspapers. “I wanted to give my work an aesthetic dimension,” he said. “I tried to create a perfect picture that evokes something disturbing.”
